Aim of the Project

To contribute towards proverty alleviation of extreme poor communities in Haor areas of Bangladesh, through increasing income and assets through promoting Haor specific proven interventions.

Activities of the Project

Formation Self help group (SHG) & Community based organization (CBO). Provide training for improve the livelihood security & Income geneting activities (IGA) for SHG & CBOs members. Directly IGA supports for SHG & CBO members. Lingkage with GO/NGO for improved access to and use of resources & services. Increased to income & assets for SHG and CBO members. Extreme poor households living in the selected haor areas in Kishoreganj districts will be benifited through comprehensive packages of support that include improved agro-based production and market linkage; promotion enterpreneurship, employment and job placement; improved govt. safety net, agriculture services and resources, protecting assets from natural disaster and climate change, expended government, private sector and foundation investment.
